First let me say that I was hoping to just use the cap to replace the one that split down the side at home. But the cap was a tad smaller and did not fit. Although it looked simple to replace, I chose to have a friend install it for me. As I said, it was fairly easy for him to remove the old one and replace it. He had already replaced the faucet with a black one so everything now matches. Looks great.

This air gap cover comes with the plumbing to install it, but I already had the plumbing in place. I just wanted to upgrade the white plastic cover to one that matches my kitchen faucet. (The faucet is a "champagne bronze" color by Delta, so if you have fixtures in this color it's a great match.) This is a warm brass color and looks like good quality. It was a cinch to pop the old plastic cover off and pop this into place, no skills needed. Recommended!
