I would not recommend this product. The one star review is because I appreciate the hygienic packaging. The blade was purchased with intention on dermaplaning. However, no matter how many times I tried or how many angles I held the blade at, the blade would not shave my face. Due to running the blade in so many passes and putting more and more pressure, I ended up with scratched skin - giving me irritated skin with the same amount hair. The blade does work as a scalpel (I tested it), and the only time I could get it work as a dermaplane blade was it I used the tip, but that also left me cut up.
