I have a Costco/Kirkland dog bed, have had it for about 8 years or so now (they don't make it anymore), and it's still wonderful — except that when I need to wash the cover I have to deal with the inner pillow, which is essentially a cheap liner stuffed with quality shredded foam — but the liner material is so cheap and has started to rip and sometimes some of the stuffing comes out. It's gotten to the point where I'd have to find a whole new insert pillow — or, hm, could I put that whole thing into another, more durable liner? 🤔 I did a whole bunch of looking on Amazon and found out yes, you can, and inexpensively. I looked at Amazon's Top 10 dog bed pillow liners and thought this would be the best quality, do what I needed it to do, at the best price. It arrived today, the material looked of good quality. As I was trying to fit it over the pillow I initially was having trouble and wondered if I had (a) ordered it a size too small and (b) if I should have gotten the one with the zipper instead of the velcro flap? Well, those concerns washed away once I worked with it some more and found not only did my dog bed pillow insert fit perfectly in this new liner, but the velcro flap also was perfect — it may have been a greater challenge had it been the zipper kind. And, I should add, the velcro is along the entire edge of two sides of the rectangle, so there is full coverage, and it is extremely strong — it will not become loose. I am extremely happy with this purchase — it saved me from having to get a new pillow insert or a new dog bed overall, and I was able to keep this lovely dog bed indefinitely. Great buy, and very quick delivery.

When my dog got sick, my cat started peeing on the dog beds. After he passed away she got in the habit of peeing on them every night. Also I run a doggy daycare and often have puppies in the house, which means accidents (and you know puppies have to pee on something soft and not the hard floor, just to make it complicated).So I needed an inexpensive alternative to buying new beds at Costco every week. These fit the bill. It's as if they were made for those beds. They keep the insides nice and dry and as an added benefit make the covers easier to slide on an off. Now laundering them is a breeze. I have had them for about a month and average 6-9 dogs a day during the week and they all seem to be holding up brilliantly. No rips or tears.I do not like the velcro, it makes them very hard to launder and put back on but I think actually taking them off and washing them should not have to be done very often. Much like a pillow cover under your pillow case. You maybe wash your pillow case every week and the pillow protector itself every few months.Of course, once I put them on my cat never tried to pee on the beds again. Go figure!

The only downside to this is that it makes the dog bed kind of crinkly and noisy. My dogs don't seem to mind it, but it does wake me up from time to time when they start scratching the bed in the middle of the night.

My young dog destroyed a very expensive dog bed, including the liner, spreading the stuffing around the room (it looked like an explosion). I was able to repair the outside of the bed by sewing a new piece of cloth to it. But, the liner was beyond repair. It was literally shredded. I ordered this liner and it is great. I velcro closure is around 2 sides of the liner, making it easy to stuff. My dog now has a bed that is good as new at the fraction of the cost.

We struggle to find a good dog bed liner to replace our dog's old one. The bed liner's two-year-old tear finally gave in during our biweekly wash. About two years ago, we bought two memory foam beds for our Kujo and those beds have proven to be a great purchase. When the 1st liner broke, we were concern about finding a replacement that it will fit.... thankfully we found it. We are ordering our second bed liner for the second bed ... now that we are certain that it will fit.

This cover is not water proof, it is water resistant. Those are 2 very different terms. This cover should be described as water resistant, because that is all that it is.If the bed is flipped so that the velcro closure is upward, there will be even more problems with leakage. Velcro does not provide for a water proof or water tight seal. To minimize leakage, the velcro closure needs to be facing downward.So if you need a water resistant cover, you are in the right place. Shop elsewhere if you need a water proof cover.

I couldn't find the exact size i was looking for, so i went ahead and ordered the biggest size, figured since it's a liner i could get away with that and just fold the extra material. I did just that and it's perfect. i love the idea of protecting the actual foam of the dog's bed from dust and dirt, etc. Easy to clean, just wipe down if necessary and wash the fabric cover.

It claims to be 100% water proof. It isn’t. I have an elderly dog that sometimes has accidental leaks in between walks. So I decided to buy a water proof liner to protect her bed pricey orthopedic bed. Well, this liner was a total failure. The pee went right through it and onto the memory foam. Now I can’t get rid of the stink and will have to replace it (again). Thanks for nothing petbed4less.
