Stencil Instructions
Steps to use your stencils correctly:
1. Align stencil where you want to use it 2. Fix it to whatever surface you are using with a temporary adhesive (such as painter's tape) to ensure that it does not move when you start 3. Use the color you like to paint the blank stencil spaces. Only apply several thin layers until the desired color is achieved 4. Once your desired surface is painted, double-check your edges and paint. Then remove the stencil very slowly and carefully by pulling it up from one corner across to the other side

I was hosting an Italian themed dinner and found a recipe for a Florentine Orange Cake. The fleur-de-lis is the symbol of Florence, Italy. I ordered the stencil HOPING that it would work out! It worked out great! I laid the stencil lightly on the powdered sugar surface of the cake and sprinkled in grated chocolate. The fleur-de-lis ended up looking better than the cake itself! Our guests were really impressed when I told them how I made the design on the cake. I gave it a 3 for sturdiness because it is flexible plastic. It's supposed to be. We enjoyed the cake, so I will make it again in the future, and use the stencil again & again.
