Our son got the flu & was throwing up we needed something quick to give us some relief from having to do more work scrubbing a mattress! This came VERY QUICKLY & we were able to install it without any hassle it fit a standard twin sized bed like a glove. No issues so far. It’s not the strongest plastic but for the price, waterproof & protects his mattress it did its job!

Very thin material and the first one ripped underneath the zipper as we were zipping it in a 7 in mattress. Be extra careful!!!

Bought these for my autistic son who is potty training. It keeps all the moisture out and doesn’t touch the bed at all. Also it doesn’t make the “plastic†sound when he moves around. Zipper works well but don’t be too rough on it because it will rip.

Still have to put them to the test. They fit the mattresses as described.They appear to be pretty much noise free.They seem to be thick and durable.Zippers work great.Unfortunately, only time will tell. I bought them for our hunting cabin for our "new mattresses". We get a lot of mice through the winter, and they have chewed up the mattresses we have. But considering that I built the cabin 51 years ago and I still have the original box spring mattresses, we shall see.

We used this cover on a 6-inch memory foam mattress. It was not a tight fit going on, and there were two of us working carefully, but I made one false move and it ripped along the seam. Still, a little duct tape to repair it worked fine, and it still does the job. If there's a nighttime accident, I just wash the sheets and wipe the cover down with a disinfectant wipe, and we're good to go.This material is pretty thin; as you can see in the pictures, the mattress tag can be seen through the cover. It made some rustling sounds when we used it with the fitted sheet only, so I started using our old, worthless mattress protector over it (one of those hypoallergenic, vinyl-free jobs that was a little more plush and soft, but didn't hold back any liquids). You would probably get the same noise-reducing result by just doubling up on fitted sheets, or putting a mattress pad over the vinyl.When you unpack this thing, it will probably have that unpleasant smell that most vinyl products do... Just give it a few hours to air out, and it will be fine.The key to getting these bad boys on is to upend the mattress on its short side, then slowly and carefully - and I mean SLOWLY and CAREFULLY, like it was tissue paper - bring the cover down from the top. Two people are ideal for the job.If you have a bed-jumper, be warned: they'll eventually put rips into this thing. You'll either have to crack down on acrobatics, or let kids be kids and keep the duct tape handy.Ours was $8.71 at the time of purchase, and although it's not an especially durable product, it's still worth it in my opinion. It definitely beats trying to clean urine out of a spongy memory foam mattress (hint: you can't).

This mattress protector is so thin that it tore as we were putting it on. There is no way that this is washable. Maybe you can wipe it quickly with a wet towel if you're not too vigorous with it. It's the thickness of a disposable plastic table cloth. It's also not noise less like it claims. The mattress protector also smells quite a bit when you open the package. Make sure to air it out for a couple days prior to using. I really liked the idea of this product, but I'm very disappointed with it.
