The tubes arrived exactly as described – true dimensions, and indeed aluminum. They feel smooth to the touch and show no inconsistencies, though they arrived in an unfinished state. It’s clear that during shipping, the tubes either rubbed against each other or never received a proper polish. So if you plan on showcasing these tubes in your project, you'll need to give them a bit of love with some polishing. Fortunately, aluminum is remarkably easy to polish. A little WD-40, a Scotchbrite pad, and some aluminum polish on a fabric will restore their shine in no time.
