Direct fit as suggested, I haven't taken the car more than 20 miles consecutively so I cannot comment on the trans cooler side of things but it seems to be working well. Good price for what you get.

Keeping coolant and fits perfectly. Full engine rebuild needed a new radiator after dinging my old one pretty bad upon removal and reinsertion of engine.

If you need the big rubber mounts for the top & bottom you'll have to get them separately but mine were in good shape. The radiator showed up a day early and it's been running for a few weeks now without any issues at all. Take your time with this job if you're using it in an Equinox and don't be like me and forget that the condenser is the thing attached to the front of the radiator, not part of it. It's two pieces hooked togeather. it IS possible to swap the rad out without removing the condenser because I did it. :)

I had it sitting for about 10 months as I prepped a v8 to swap into my 92 c1500, after getting it to pass inspection and whatnot, I wanted to upsize the radiator. Got all the work done, nice clean motor swap. Put the rad in, no leaks. Put about 3000km on it and noticed coolant all up on top of my intake manifold, everywhere all over the place. Thought it was water neck leaking.. nope. The small little drain plug on the driver side was dripping(worse when running/pressurized) and leaking down the rad support into the fan shroud, letting the fan pick it up and throw it everywhere making a huge mess.Tried to tighten the drain plug ever so gently and it immediately shot out spurting out nearly the rest of the coolant before I could grab it and stuff it back in. Now it wont "tighten", it just spins and has a constant drip/leak. Replaced the plug portion with the plug from my old radiator, still drips.What a waste of my money and a hassle it has been. Filthy mess all over the motor.

Couldn't be happier! This radiator fit exactly as the original unit in our older car. Not the most easy car to work on so having everything line up was a blessing. No more leaks car runs a bit cooler now. Recommend this product for sure!
