Husband and I had fun doing this but the directions weren’t clear when it came to adding in the wood chips. They give you two glass tubes of each wood chip flavor but then say to add half a tube…the half of one tube was NOT enough for the flavor.4 stars still because of the quality time and like I said…it was fun.

We have bought a few of these in various alcohols now as gifts. We have received great feedback from family and friends who have done it and I have personally tasted the results of a few of these and they are very good. The packaging is very nice and it is very easy to follow and create your own unique flavors in your favorite alcohol. My brother is a bit particular when it comes to Gin and Whiskey and he has enjoyed both kits. I can't believe people are giving a low rating because this didn't come with any whiskey... Do you really think amazon is going to be mailing alcohol ? Give your head a shake people. This was one of the best gifts I have ever given to a whiskey enthusiast. They loved all the botanicals especially the birds eye chili . She started crafting right away and cannot wait to taste her creations . She brought a high proof bourbon and a high proof vodka to see how the flavors would develop for both .This is a fantastic gift to give or get , I almost want one for myself lol.

Ich habe das DIY-Whisky-Set als Geschenk für einen sehr guten Freund gekauft.Das Set kam schön verpackt und ohne gebrochenes Glas an :) Sowohl die Zusammenstellung der Ingridients, als auch das Equipment, also Flasche, Filter und Korken finde ich sehr ansprechend und ist alles wie beschrieben. Eine praktische Gebrauchsanleitung ist ebenfalls dabei.Daher hält das Produkt für mich alles ein, was vom Verkäufer versprochen wurde. Den Preis finde ich in diesem Umfang angemessen und sprengt auch nicht mein Budget für Geburtstage :)Zum Herstell-Prozess kann ich noch nichts sagen, da hier noch nichts ausprobiert wurde.Klar ist für mich allerdings jetzt schon, egal was da rauskommt mit einem echten Whisky kann es natürlich nicht mithalten. ABER: Das muss es nicht!! sonst hätte ich meinem Freund auch einfach einen hochwertigen Whisky kaufen können:)Ich empfinde das Set als schöne Geschenkidee für Whisky-Liebhaber und Menschen die Spaß an Eigenkreationen haben.Garantiert ist uns auf alle Fälle ein feuchtfröhlicher Abend mit viel Spaß an den selbstgemachten Kreationen ðŸ˜
