I pull up some jeans all the time with my belt on. If I tighten it up to corset level they stay put but that is certainly not at all comfortable. I tried these and haven’t looked back, they just work. They also have a “soft†plastic tooth system that is not only grippy but likely less harmful than metal, on that note, they haven’t come un-clipped. Seem to be a quality item but have only had for a week.

These are my new favorite suspenders. It's only on rare occasions, when the dark blue color would clash with my outfit, that I don't wear these.What I like:Cosmetically: the dark, neutral blue color, Navy, can go with most of my outfits; and the silver of the hardware goes well with the suspenders and everything else.The materials are very good and I haven't seen any sign of degradation even after frequent use. The stretchy material is still like new as is the leather.The hardware all functions very well- better than most of my previous suspenders.The X-back is great. It's at a good angle, holds up the pants better than a single, and, in my opinion, just looks better. Most importantly though, the X is fixed, preventing misalignment and slippage like there is when suspenders have an adjustable loop in the back.What I don't like:The suspenders are a little on the short side, at least for me. Granted, they fit just fine, and I do have a peculiarly large torso, but I would have preferred, just for looks, that the clamps sit higher than they do.I'm giving only 4/5 stars because, despite the fact that I like these so much:1- I would like the clamps higher2- I feel that 5 stars should be reserved for suspenders that are "just wow," having all the functionality of these, but also sporting other aesthetic elements that are not present here.And yes, I know I bought what I bought, but 5 stars is going to be something both functional and probably having something like treated leather.

After wearing these Dockers Suspenders for a couple of hours, I believe they will exactly meet my need for a quality pair of suspenders. The label states they are made in the Dominican Republic; there is no indication China is involved in this item. The straps are 1.25" wide and will stretch [both front and back sections] a maximum of about 50%, i.e., a 2" non-stretched length of the strap material will stretch out to 3". The back cross block and the front clamp attachments are quality brown leather and the stitching is well-done with strong brown thread The metal parts have quality brass plating. The four clamp clasps are one-half inch wide and seven-eighths inch long to their hinge. The clamps are strong. The clamps have round nylon jaws with triangular shark-like teeth that grip tightly because the top side jaw is three-eighths inch in diameter and meshes inside the one-half inch diameter lower jaw, which has about 14 teeth. Excellent design. I am using these suspenders to grip elastic waistband material that is fairly thin, probably half the thickness of denim jeans waistbands. I am confident these clamps will not lose their grip on my elastic waistband. I believe these suspenders will wear long and well.

i wear suspenders. idk i just like it. ive bought these a few times. maybe several idk bc they dont last that long. thats my main gripe. cheap material. dont let anyone snap your straps. ruins em. at least they dont cost that much but still should only be like 8 bucks.

I find the time that the necessity for winter clothing. A belt is no longer easy to use. I the best way is to use is suspenders , very comfortable very easy and very inexpensive.

These suspenders are more comfortable and work to support pants much better than a standard belt could ever do.
