These shorts have a great, classic design and nice, dense fabric. The red is more subdued in real life, which make them more appropriate for men and general use. I like the high waist and long length (10.5"). Just what you would expect when looking for classic, good quality shorts. Highly recommended!

Shorts are very comfortable and made very well. I enjoy the deep welled side pockets to hold my keys and wallet. They are holding shape and function throughout wash cycles with no frayed seams. A good khaki short for a staple during the summer months out on the town. True to size

This is the first time I bought these brand shorts and I have to say that they look pretty good, fit well and are very comfortable. Definitely worth the money.

I bought a pair of these in size 31 with the old design from 3 years ago, which had a shorter inseam. I have always liked them but recently found myself searching for new shorts with a longer inseam. After a prolonged search, I ironically ended up back on this same product page, where the inseam has been lengthened. I like the new design.However, to my surprise, the size has gone very small. I had to order a *33* to get the same fit as my old 31 pair for the "same" product. I understand why they would like to keep all the positive reviews with the updated product but it really should be on a new product page. However, as a consumer, you should just know that you need to order *two* sizes up for this new version. I still have the original size 31 pairs that I was wearing regularly before finally landing on a new size 33 pair with the same fit, so I know it wasn't an issue with my size changing due to weight gain.Finally, there is an annoying extra pocket inside right pocket. The first thing I do after getting a pair of these is cut that extra pocket out with a pair of fabric scissors. I really wish they'd stop putting that stupid extra pocket in there. It just gets in the way and makes it hard to put my phone in that pocket.

I must own 15 pair of Dockers khakis. As much as I love them, I don’t love the way these shorts fit. More than a couple reviews said they found the cut tight, and I agree with that. While the waist seems pretty true to size, the classic cut seems tight through the body. They feel fine enough while I’m standing up, but I do notice a feeling of being constricted while I’m sitting. They are still wearable and they look good, particularly for the price. They have a heavier weight fabric and that makes them look dressier. But it also doesn’t stretch much at all. If I could find these in a relaxed fit, I’d definitely buy more. But not this cut.
