My first pair of Dockers boat shoes these are and they look nice. Fit is good for a size 13 at just right. Most other brands are a tight fit.Construction is good and leather is good quality. Based on years of wearing boat shoes I predict these should last about a year with average use here in hot Florida sunshine.My concerns are about the insole which is flimsy and offers minimal to no support which means I’ll need to get a better insole about $10 -15 bucks ~ Also the sole , material feels a bit soft compared to other brands I’ve worn which can mean fast wearing but I shall see how that plays out.I have the brown color and it is good and not shiny but a matte look. Bottom line if I can get a year of use out of these without them falling apart or looking like trash I’ll be happy. I like there is no break in with these so they should keep their shape for awhile. I would have preferred leather laces but oh well on that.

Dockers Men's Vargas are excellent shoes.Great fit. Very comfortable.

I can't believe how quickly these shoes "broke in" -- they were a little stiff when I first put them on, but with a total of less than twelve hours' worth of wear (yesterday and today) already they're supple enough to just slip into and out of. The sizing was perfect, and they're every bit as comfortable as deck shoes should be. They look to be well-made, as well, with a durable sole that should give me four or five years of wear before time and use catch up to them. In my case, as my feet have almost no arch, I could use a bit more arch support, but a pair of inserts (which I have to use with almost every pair of shoes I buy) will solve that problem. The issue is definitely not with these deck shoes! I also like the dark color of the soles and the whole "low key" look they have. As a rule, I don't like reviews that don't offer at least some criticism, however minor, of a product, as it makes me wonder if the reviewer has actually used the product or if they're just gushing because they can't think of anything better to do. In the case of these Dockers, though, I really can't find anything negative to say about them. So take that for what it's worth, but I really do recommend these shoes!

Very satisfied with the Dockers moccasins. Very comfortable to wear. I wear them for hours at a time. Good choice.

Nice appearance. Comfortable. The tongue on these shoes is to short. The tongue rolls underneath itself and you have to pull it out. But to unroll / pull up the tongue you have to untie the shoe string and then retire your shoe. These are boat shoes that I am use to just slipping on and off to wear.

This is my third pair of the Vargas from Dockers in the past 10 years (I generally get 2-4 years out of them). I like them better than Sperry because they are real leather, wear very well, stitching is excellent, they have good soles (although they do slip on wet surfaces), and they fit like they should. The color is great and goes with everything from jeans and khakis to shorts.The leather foot-bed disintegrated in my last pair after about 2 years of wear, but I think it is because I wore them a LOT, and do not wear them with socks... if you wear them business-casual with socks they last for many years. I had a new leather foot-bed cut for them and glued them into place, and they will still work well as a back-up and knock-about pair. I still have the pair I bought 10 years ago, and they are great for cutting grass or wearing when I don't care what happens to them (they've been in salt water, sand, mud, rain, and logged many, many miles)... they're like your favorite sweatshirt... after they are broken in, you don't want to take them off!

I love the Docker's Vargas Oxfords. I find them very comfortable and they wear like iron. I had my last pair for at least 4 years. Wore them almost everyday. Simply replace the insoles, when they break down, with a set of dr. Scholl's gel insoles and you're good for another year. Delivery was super fast.
