I bought this for myself because 1) you can't have too many tools and 2) I'm always working on projects and sometimes need to measure or pattern the oddest things. Boom! Now, what's funny is that as I watch youtube (which is all my tv time as I don't have cable and prefer to pick stuff from creators instead of studios), I am constantly getting the add for this tool - lol - well that one and the guy that wants to buy my house! He can go away. But this tool has worked great for me. If you're a maker of any kind, I suspect you'd find it useful in some applications

Husband loved it! Really versatile product. Durable, no damage, arrived in timely fashion. My only complaint is that it has NO instructions on how to use it! A few pictures on the side of the box is not instructions. Someone who’s unsure about how to use this with measurements should not buy it.

it works but the dimensions are apaprox 1 inch deeper than you need to be so you need to take that into account
