I got this hat for our rescue pup, Chili since I noticed she was squinting a lot when we whitewater kayak. She has no issue wearing it once it is on and she has shaken her head a few times to get it settled just right. She is a hit on the river when people see her floating past them in our inflatable kayak. It stays on through the Class II rapids we paddle and is great on the open lakes, too. We plan on using it when Chili rides in her pack when we go biking, too, to provide some sun protection. Chili is mostly a Cavalier and Cocker mix, weighing just under 30 lbs. Her ears are set high on her head and fit through the ear holes well. The bungee cord snugs it down and keeps it securely on her little head.

So cute. The XS size fits my 8lb chihuahua well. The material is nice and I love the adjustable slide. The hat stays on well. I think it’s a good value for what I paid.
