This is in my 6 month old male Akita puppy’s crate. We had another one that was a plastic material and he broke the clamp and it just didn’t work. This one, being stainless steel, he doesn’t bother with other than to drink from, and it’s easy to remove and clean and refresh. Great product.

I have one of those heavy duty crates with the thick metal bars and not regular wire.When I got these bowl sets I wasn't sure they would work on the crate. The bowl holders are secured onto the crate with two metal plates and 2 screws. However since these were meant for the wire style crate walls the plates are not wide enough to secure between 2 vertical bars making the set up less stable. Instead it will rest on top of a horizontal bar while securing around 1 vertical bar. If the dog pushes down too hard while eating it would tilt downward a bit and you would have to re-adjust it.

I purchased an 8ft kennel for my puppy and wanted a food and water bowl that was elevated off the floor, yet secured enough not to be knocked over. These bowls did exactly as I needed and was easy to install. In fact, I have used them on my pool fence as well for fresh water when I had other dogs over. Very happy with this purchase. They are the perfect size to feed/water a dog of any size. They are easy to remove to refill. I've had them for almost 2 months and they are still like new. They are easy to clean and an excellent price for something I plan on using for an extended amount of time. The versatility to remove them from one area and use in a different one is great!! Will purchase again if I need another set!!

My dog likes to rest his head on his bowls after drinking and the round metal piece that holds the bowl in place broke off. Happened literally 2 days after putting the bowl in his kennel .Worked for my other dogs because she doesn’t mess with her bowls, but if you put any weight on them, they will break.

I had a little plastic dish that came with a small crate a million years ago that was great. Our new puppy used it one time and it was in pieces! I was sad because I'd had it for so long and had never seen anything like it since. Lo and behold! 5 minutes on Amazon and I find a new and improved metal version! It screwed onto the door of the crate bars super easily and hasn't moved. I can pop the dish in and out to clean and refill with no hassle and puppy can't destroy it. I love this thing!

These bowls fit front of our cage well.Quickly learned that the food bowl needs to stay in else inevitably the dog will chane the shape of the round frame. The water bowl in hindsight is the right size for our 45 pound dog. We dump the residuals and refill a few times a day. Nothing like fish water . . .

The clamps kept working loose and the holder fall and dump the bowl into the cage or crate.
