I had a different water fountain than the one pictured here and that One would leak so much and the mat would keep the water trapped within the mat, so I liked that it would protect my floors. It doesn’t slide around, it grips the floor well. I’ve hand washed it only and it seems to be fine as far as durability.It fits my dog fountain and one bowl. It’s a decent size. I like the color.

Photo for size reference - I purchased the smallest size which fits two 8.5 inch paper plates or a combination of plate/water bowl about that size. My yorkie eats a wet food that is super messy and paper plates are just easier for me but it slid all around the floor. This mat keeps the mess contained and helps avoid the plate from sliding around. It also helps with the accidental bumping of the water bowl as it has raised edges. Can easily be washed or thrown in the top rack of my dishwasher.

I have to give this mat a 50/50 review.I must admit the mat is very cute and stylish! It can go with any type of decor. I bought the largest size. It can easily fit two large dishes on it! The silicone keeps the dishes firmly in place (preventing them from moving around). It also prevents the mat from sliding all over the floor (we have hardwood flooring) helping immensely with the mess of our messy eaters!With that said…The mat itself is very, very thin! The raised edges are not raised by very much. If your fur babies like to get several chunks of their dog food out at one time, chances are, they won’t stay on the mat. There’s not a lot of room vertically on the mat itself. It’s a great fit horizontally, though! Lastly, the price. I think it’s a little in the high side for what the description reads. You could most likely find a thicker mat with more of raised edges for the same price.I still love this mat! It’s very cute in our space where we needed it! It still does the job (just not perfectly). I plan on keeping it as it seems to be working for us and our fur babies!Happy Shopping!!😊

Perfect size mat for his bowls. It works great as wet guard when he’s sipping his water keeps it from getting all over the floor and it’s super easy to clean.
