I bought this a few months ago for my kitten and I'm loving it. It's super cute and it absorbs water very well for when she throws water out of her bowl, it catches it and doesn't leave the floor underneath wet.

However it’s not completely waterproof I had to put one of those bathroom liners under it so it wouldn’t ruin the floor.

I put my dogs water bowl on top of this because they make such a mess when they’re getting a drink, this thing is like a shamwow towel, it sucks the water up and stays dry for the most part. I cannot tell you how many times I’ve dripped water out of their water bowl when putting this down, and not even 10 minutes later will you even notice that it got wet. This is well worth the money, and your sanity if you have dogs that dribble water everywhere when they get a drink. 100/10 you gotta get one!!!

I was immediately attracted to this mat because of its design, which adds a lovely touch to my kitchen. I absolutely love how well this fits with my decor and how perfectly it works for placing under my pug's food and water bowls.Nevertheless, there are a few notable downsides. Firstly, I was disappointed to find that the edges started peeling up after the first wash, even though I used the gentle cycle on my washing machine. However, I remain hopeful that this issue can be resolved. I hung it up to air dry, but unfortunately, it didn't do much to preserve its condition.Additionally, the mat tends to accumulate dirt quite rapidly, which can be a bit of a hassle when it comes to cleaning. I've noticed that a bit of extra effort is needed to remove stains from the mat, which could be improved for a low-maintenance product.All in all, the design is absolutely delightful and it fulfills its intended function flawlessly. However, there is room for improvement when it comes to durability and ease of cleaning. If you're willing to take good care of it by hand washing it regularly and handling it with care, it could still be worth considering for its aesthetic appeal.

I bought this because I was tired of my 15 year old cat spilling her wet food all over the floor when she eats, as well as something grippy for her paws to cling to so she doesn't slide all over the wood floors when trying to eat. Now, she spills it on this mat, which is the same texture as a mousepad, and I can easily wipe up the mat with a damp sponge and let it air-dry. It also prevents her from slipping while she's sitting to eat. I got the white and black mat, which I knew would appear messy when her food is spilled on it, but surprisingly the food stains wipe right up as long as I catch them within a few days time and don't let them set too much. I would buy this again and recommend to anyone who wants a food mat for their pet!
