We have two mini dachshund. Living in Florida we get a lot of storms causing problems for small fur babies. So we tried numerous things ..none easy. We tried sod pieces in a baby pool during storms putting in the garage or side room whichever. But sometimes sod isn't available at the box stores plus bring in bugs and dirt. And can't keep it for an extended period of time. And if course we tried lots and lots of artificial doggie potty grasses. But ooooh the smell. No matter how I washed it with the hose using cleaner., shampoos and hunting scent free washes. Still stunk. Rubber backing stained and stinky. Front really stinky. Ready to give up and found this set up. Love the fact the pad snaps on to grass. I am putting a 2x3 doggie pee pad in between the pad and the grass. We use two and then alternating with two others. But so far dog urine isn't even seeping through to the pad. ( Edit did seep through once to pad in between the grass and bottom bad.) When it's time to wash we wash the bottom and top and dispose of the throw away pad in between) The grass itself gets tossed along with the pad into the washing machine. But even before washing the grass is not smelling like the other doggie grass. No real stench. So washes well obviously. To dry i found I can just put on air dry in the dryer. And ready to go again. I put the grass back together with pad in between, fold it and put them aside til ready to use again. Currently using them with a childs ball play pen with cut out doors. But hoping we can just put a folded tarp down and eliminate the pen. Both pups took right to this system. They go outside but like using the doggie potty especially in the mornings cause our mini doxies hate walking on wet grass in the dewy mornings. Suffice to say we are so pleased! Perfect for us and our fur babies!

I was a little skeptical about this product but I was in desperate need of something to help my dog who had recently lost use of her back legs due to bulging discs in her back. I was lucky that it was her back & that she regained use of her hind legs but is restricted from using the stairs for 2 months (maybe longer).I decided on this product because I was spending lots of $ on disposable pee pads & this can be used indoors or outdoors. We decided to use it out on our apartment balcony/patio. I actually bought 2 of them and she's been using them like clockwork. I'm so happy especially since I just couldn't take anymore of the constant cleaning up after her inside the apartment. The problem with the pee pads is that they didn't hold all of her urine but these grass pads do! I might buy more to line up more on my patio so it looks like a full grassy area & she can wander in a bigger area.

Good productMy pup stays on it and easily learned this is where she would go on the fat side of my patio (apartment). Really handy in bad weather living in an apartment. I throw in wash once a week.What I don’t like is I put mat in hot water and dryer and it shrunk slightly. I suggest just washing snapping back to grass and let air dry. I bought a second one to give her a bit more space she’s 30#I wish it was double the size at this price or less cost for each I do recommend

Seems like a good idea, but it's hard to clean and we ended up really preferring the disposable pads. It could be good if you have an older dog who has trouble holding it in sometimes and may not be able to make it out it would certainly save a lot of money, but personally, just using the disposable and working with my dog to train him as quickly as I could works better for me.

I’ve tried 5 different artificial potty grasses and threw them away because they started stinking. I washed them sprayed them but nothing helped.I love this one it doesn’t stink easy to wash and my two pups love it! Buy it and save yourself lots of money and time! Thank me later….

Older cat has been peeing over the sides so got 3 of these pads to sit boxes on top. No more wet spots or stink but they are pooping on the grass at times... that's easier to clean at least.

After 2 months of daily use, it still looks new. I toss the grass pad in the washer weekly, and the tray just needs a quick hose-down. Highly recommend!
