I purchased this because last week my dog was injured while 4 miles out on a hike and we had no choice but to make the trek back on foot. I swore to her it would never happen again, but she is a BIG girl and I needed something to be able to carry her long distances in case of an emergency. I am always skeptical about buying things online that are built to be put under pressure, however I am very impressed here. None of the straps or buckles slip at all, even when I was bouncing my dog around a bit to test the durability. She seemed very comfortable, and while it does cut into her thighs a bit, I don't expect perfection from something I didn't have custom fit to her. 10/10!

I'm currently unable to use this - it definitely runs larger than expected.Biggest issue for us is that the straps (thinking shoulder straps for the human?) are super short, kinda weird, strangely applied with zero information on where they attach, how to use or wear them.Haven't decided to keep or not - it's pretty heavy just by itself, seems sturdy - but if you add the weight of the dog, I'm not sure if I can lift this by myself.Considering it's not super intuitive to strap up - it REALLY needs some type of instruction.If I keep this, learn to use it, can lift it, find it sturdy & helpful, and it holds up... I may update my 3-star review.I'm not sure how I feel about this product, but find myself a little sad about it. I've been looking for this type of item for quite awhile and this is disappointing.

So I ordered this because my dog was having issues walking and I thought it would work better then the lift I currently had. The lift I currently had only lifted her in the middle and thus going up and down steps was a issue because her body would pitch forward or backward. I was hopeful this one would support both her back and front. However, it didn't really end up working for me. It isn't really meant to be used as a lift. The issue was that the only straps are really for carrying your pet as a backpack so they are on one side of the harness. I was hoping I would be able to move the straps to allow me to use it to pick her up and help her walk around. However, that isn't really what this was intended for and thus it didn't work for me. However, if you plan to use it as intended (a backpack) then it would probably work fine for you. It seems very durable. It is so durable that at first it seems a little stiff. My dog didn't really like it being around her whole body. It seemed to constrict her a lot and she honestly couldn't move easily. However, I suppose if you are using it as a backpack and riding with your dog on a motorcycle you don't really want your pet to be able to move too much and throw off your balance. So if this product is used as intended it probably would work great for you. It just didn't work great for my needs. In addition, maybe the more you used it the more fitted and flexible and less stiff it would become for your pet.

Be carful of the sizing. They run extremely big. I have a 40lb dog that was able to sue the extra small. Very durable and well made. Highly recommend

The size chart that is provided is inaccurate. I ordered a small following the dimensions stated on the size chart, and it’s too small for my 53lb husky.Another thing is that it is absolutely confusing to use. There is not any instructions included in the packaging. You are left alone to figure it out by yourself, which we did and I still don’t feel like it’s the proper way of using it.

I was looking for something to help with lifting my dog in case she gets exhausted on walks. I notice after some time, she has to lay down to rest her hips. I stumbled upon this and thought the idea was neat. It is well made and easy to put on. I was able to lift her with ease. She obviously has to get used to the idea being suspended in air, but it is a lot easier than a one shoulder carry. I am really glad I found this!

Multiple points of adjustments with multiple buckles. Sturdy enough to hold a 85-90lb dog. Bought in case of emergency evaluation.
