Works great! Lifesaver with new puppy. Potty training can test even the best of us. This large pad allows me to set up a pen in living room so I can run errands and such. Leakproof, and washable. It is holding up really well so far.

These washable pee pads are great! They are thick and very large. Did not have any issues with leaking. They are very absorbent

We used the matt while potty training our puppy. The pad itself is big but very thin. It does not dry completely and if there is an accident it will retain the smell even after cleaning. It does wash, but I would hang it to dry not the dryer. If you use the dryer the rubber smells and any odor smells(like urine) will come out stronger

I bought this mat not for a dog but for my cat's. Having hard wood floors that are cold in the winter time. This mat is perfect for my their paws. . Making a wonderful play area for them to play on. . It's not thick like a rug would be that collects hair . Thats's a blessing is also a blessing. It stays in place pretty good also. At the end of winter it can be washed and stored away until next winter.

Our senior dog started having accidents but usually chose a throw rug to pee on. Then I wanted to check her urine with a test strip so we needed to help her target her peeing. These mats were promptly used. But they are thin and slide around on a hardwood floor. You will need to first put down some impermeable backing. The instructions are curious and probably written by a foreign speaker. They treat a used pad like hazardous waste and also caution about letting your dog pee on the edges?? How are we supposed to control where the dog pees? Also these pads are large (accounting for their cost?) so we fold them in half. Not sure these are the best for the purpose and far as we can tell they have no added scent or property to encourage dogs to 'use' them.

I had a dog whose back legs would splay out on the hardwood floor. We came home several times to find him with his legs completely extended horizontally as he was whimpering since he no longer had the strength to pick himself back up again. It was basically a nightmare. I bought these along with these fencing / pen (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00F97RHQE?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1) and was able to create a relatively large pen he could stay in while we were gone. Eventually as his legs got worse, he effectively lived on these mats as he was unable to walk or stay standing anywhere else in the house except on the rug (I should add we'd often also put some dumbbells on the sides to keep him from bunching up the mats, as they were more effective if they laid flat and had no slack).Another benefit is because they can be washed in the washing machine cleaning up the constant accidents became much easier. In extreme cases we'd take the mats to the drive way and wash them off, and then stick them in the washing machine with a bunch of vinegar. Sometimes the mats could smell a little funky, but overall they stayed clean. They also proved useful when we had to travel with my dog. Somehow he got in the habit of going to the bathroom every time we started a car trip. So we just put a mat over the seat, sat him down, and if anything happened used the second mat (eventually we got three of them). It's hard to think of items I've bought on Amazon that have been the kind of tremendous success that these mats were. Having this setup gave us extra months with our dog I don't think we'd have had otherwise and I'm very grateful we found them.

This thing has been beaten up by my rabbits, machine washed basically once a day for 2.5 days, still has rubber dots on the bottom, is weighted, big, and weirdly light. And even if we don't get to the rabbit pee each day it can last 3 or 4 days worth of pee collecting which says a lot since rabbits pee gallons a day!
