My dog mastered this in a short time. (OK, I ignored him until he figured it out) It is so nice that he no longer scratches at me at the side of the bed to pick him up. He is only 25 pounds. I think they might be a little flimsy for a heavier dog.(or cat)

This is total trash. The foam never totally expanded. The cover doesn’t fit on it properly and the wood planks for the steps doesn’t sit on each rim. This was a total waste of money. I’m so disappointed. It doesn’t function well because it’s misshaped and it’s not sturdy at all. I would not purchase this product.P

After letting it sit all day the foam expanded to its full size. I would have rather had one come ready to go. The cardboard pieces that you slide in to make firmer steps tend to slide out. Not made that well.

Putting the cover on and the stair pieces was a little confusing but I got it on the second try

These dog stairs work perfectly for my old dog. Make sure to leave time for the foam to expand after opening the package. At first, I was concerned that they were the wrong size, but by the end of the night they had expanded to the perfect size. They are also sturdy, and my dog has never slipped or had any trouble using them. The cloth covering has a nice texture and is easily removable to clean.

Cover does not fit. Does not sit flat on the floor either. Not worth it. Then, foam rubber expands so that you cannot get it back into the box to return. I will buy a shipping box to return it. No thank you. Wish I didn't have to choose a star.

Before my beautiful19-year-old cat Ricochet passed away, she was able to have access to her favorite places all the way till the "end". Places like our couch and bed. It was comforting knowing that she could not hurt herself because the firm foam rubber held her body weight if she stumbled, she didn't hurt herself.
