I got this for a Golden Doodle which I'd say is "medium" sized dog, so I got the medium-sized hat. It barely fit on his head and looked cute, but a bit small. It was well stitched with no loose threads but the sizing just seems off. So if you want one, get a size up.

I really love this dog hat! IT fits my dog really well. I love the way they have the ear holes. It's just perfect for my Frenchie. The only thing I would change about this hat is the chin strap...I think it should have 2 of them, that merge into 1...that way the hat won't slide so much if the dog runs or shakes their head.

I gave it 3 stars because it runs small. I really like the material and quality of the hat. I got a large but still does not fit my dog. The colors of the hat are really cute. And I like how it has a adjusting string so can help it stay on. I would recommend but definitely size up.

These will definitely take some getting used to for my cats, but they are so cute! They do have a nice secure strap that helps to hold it on, but my 12lb cats weren't sure about having something attached to their head at first. I think with time and patience they will be good with it though. Cute cute cute!

This is a very cute hat for dogs. It does need ironing, but it feels like pretty good quality and looks like the photos.

While this should have fit my dog (a 40lb pit bull) it was so floppy that it wouldn't stay put at all. The entire thing has about as much structure as a pair of tighty whiteys. Might work for some dogs, and it's cute, but it just flopped off each time.

This hat is true to the size chart. I measured my dog's head circumference and space between the ears before ordering and it actually fit him. As with many Frenchies, he has a big blocky head that's shaped differently than most other dog breeds. The brim is just the right width; enough to shield the sun and not too big to hinder his vision. My dog's head is 20" around, both front of forehead to back of skull and around top of the head and bottom of chin.The hat is made from a soft floppyish canvas material. There are some distressed details but no actual holes. The tie dye print is on the underside of the brim as well. There is an elastic cord with a plastic slider to adjust and secure it. The cord is longer than needed and kept getting in the way of walking/drinking, so I trimmed and retied it.The hat does not seem uncomfortable and my dog has learned to stop trying to remove it. However, since there is only a single cord and the ear holes holding it, it rotates out of place easily. If my dog shakes, runs hard, or lays down, it rotates and ends up under his chin. So you will need to constantly adjust it if your dog is at all active. Still very cute and offers some shade from the sun.
