I bought this because as a girl it was hard for me to screw the usual ones deep enough in the ground. This one has blades (be careful). The make it easier to slice into the dirt while screwing it in. Also it comes with this handy tool that would never have thought of that helps you get leverage to really screw it all the way down. Once it’s in there it’s super secure. Well made. The clip at the end of the cable is not your usual dog leash clip. It’s a carabiner which I find harder to clip if I’m in a hurry (or if my dog is in a hurry more like it).

I have a 40 pound rambunctious puppy. I was worried that putting a steak in the ground would not work well for him. But this product actually works extremely well. I placed it into the ground and it hasn’t moved since. The cable is strong and my puppy hasn’t shoot through it yet. Which is saying something. Highly recommend.

This product keeps my dog tethered in the yard while I am working in the garden. He has a lot of room to move around. However in about 6 weeks in a dry summer, rained twice, there is considerable rust developing on the end clips so I’m not sure how long the product will last.

There is just to keep our dogs on a tire outside. It's very strong but the first time we put it in and it did not stay because we didn't put it flush to the ground. Our dogs are pretty strong and they were able to pull it out. Once we put it all the way in the ground it's been perfect. Our dogs are 50 pounds a piece and it's managed to withstand them. It looks nice and I love that it had a handle to help turn it to get it into the ground I've had it for a couple weeks and it seems to work really well.

We had this tie up for only a few months and came home one day to our high dollar dog just loose. It had just popped apart. And it was not wearing against anything. Would not recommend this product at all😬

I was a little leary of a inground stake as I have a Rotti, but this one actually stays in the ground. However, I must say my Rotti is pretty easy going, but we do live on a well used road and I don't have a fenced yard and he does not know he is intimidating to most people. This stake comes with a tool to insert it into the ground.

Installation was easy which was great for me. Very sturdy. My fur baby weights around 70 lbs and it still stays in place.

This came with all that you need to get this down flush with the ground. My super dog "Krypto the Irish Terrier" managed to pull previous versions out of the ground, but not this one. Bravo!
