Our Norwegian Elkhound is an aggressive chewer, particularly of soft toys. We don't really let her have them unless we are playing with her with them or she'll tear them to shreds in now time. Even under those conditions most toys don't last very long. This one has been a good exception. She enjoys engaging with it, and it has lasted a few weeks now with only a few small tears from our time playing with it. If I let her have it, there's no way it would last the afternoon, but if we play with it together it's pretty easy to keep her from tearing it up and it isn't falling apart from the tug play itself. She is quite happy, and asks to play with it frequently, so it has been a good purchase for us.

I use this product to entertain my dog, and to teach her to let go of objects on command. She really enjoys it! The jute covering allows her to set a hard grip without slipping off. I find the two handled version to be more convenient for me. It allows me to present the middle of the toy more consistently, without the risk of a bite from missing the toy.The tug appears to be well made, but since I've only had it a few weeks I can't say how long it will last. My dog tens to destroy bite objects rather quickly.

We like to play fetch in the house with our pup, but it doesn't take long for whatever we're throwing to get covered with her saliva and too gross to handle, so we thought this would be a great solution. Our dog loves catching it and tugging with it and after a few months the jute still hasn't shown any signs of tearing. The handles however are shredded and falling apart as our dog also loves chewing on them. I wish they could've used jute for the handles, but for the price, this toy is still a good choice for us.

We have two very active Cattle Dogs. They are both chewers and we have not found anything that lasts long.

I pulled the toy out of the box, opened the bag, and within an hour the first strap was chewed through. Two hours later, the other handle was chewed through. So now it is just a stuffed stick. It didn't even last 4 hours.

This seemed good at first but within 5 minutes, our dog had chewed the handle and then while playing, it completely tore off. I thought it would last, but it didn’t even last 5 hours.

I’ve got a 13 month old Golden Retriever. He loves playing tug. But he’s not very good at it. He’s very soft mouthed. But I’ve been able to get him to tug on these ones. The texture is rather well made but is soft enough for my boy to grab on to. He doesn’t like grabbing onto balls or hard things so this is fantastic. I’ve bought a couple now. The first one I left in the car & he found it & chewed a hole in it.

Espero dure mucho tiempo. Sà la recomiendo.

This tug toy is being used in training my 14 month old Rottweiler and is standing up well to the process. I do not know how it would stand up to being used as a chew toy because it is only used in training. As a high value object in one-on-one play. It is great for engaging prey drive in a training situation. I have two of these and would buy again.

My GS loves this toy. Works as 3 in 1. Throw, Tug and Bite. Very satisfying and stimulating for her.
