Got these plates for my 6 mo old son learning to eat solids. He is able to feed himself with these plates as they are stationary with the suction cups, and also the dish area is deep, so he is able to more easily grab food by using the sides. I HIGHLY recommend this dish or a similar deep dish for starting independent feeding!

I would give these a 5 but they can be fragile. The first package I bought had a broken plate. Luckily I was able to get a replacement free of charge.We've been doing baby led weaning for over a year and we were ready for a plate upgrade. These plates have deep enough divots do that my daughter can scoop up cottage cheese and yogurt on her own with no trouble. It's also nice to be able to portion the plate to be loaded with fruit/veg.

These plates are heavy duty, don't get hot in the microwave and the suction is super strong!

This is a set of three porcelain divided plates with silicone holders. They suction fairly well to our wooden table which is not smooth. I imagine they would suction even better to a smooth surface.My favorite thing about these plates is that they don't hold the odor of soap like silicone plates so. I definitely recommend these plates!

This set of porcelain plates was something else! They are quite hefty and heavier than I thought they'd be, but that's not an issue as it means that my babies have a more difficult time getting it off the table. I love that these have silicone sleeves on them, as it makes it so that they have even better staying power. They are super easy to clean, and it's a great time just rinsing them and tossing them in the dishwasher.
