Your cart is empty.The patented Don't Fret Finger Position Indicator is a decal which applies to the fingerboards of string instruments and which shows beginning students where to put their fingers. Twelve colored lines are arranged in a scale pattern and indicate the notes of the first octave above the open string. Don't Fret is mathematically designed and is precision-printed on vinyl, with an overlay of transparent ink for durability. Guidelines are printed to help properly align the Don't Fret on the fingerboard. In classes the Don't Fret has lasted more than one year. The decal removes absolutely cleanly from the instrument.

I am picking up the violin again after years of not playing and this product has been a great help! It includes the finger placements for half steps between notes (the white bars). I thought that would make it a little too busy when I first got it but it’s actually turned out to be very helpful, especially when learning higher positions. Highly recommend!

I like this fret meeker the best so far I wish it had the the notes on it too. I bought one with the name of the notes but it wasn't easy to apply and came unstuck fairly quickly. Another thing I don't think the notes are exactly in a straight line across the fingerboard but close enough.

Works great, no problem applying, notes are tuned at the correct frequency after application. I would suggest that the people who did have trouble applying it watch a YouTube video first. It is fairly easy to tear but there is no reason to pull hard enough to do so, so I wouldn't count that as a flaw.

This sucked. I had to loosen all my violin strings to the point it took me 1 hour to retune. I took the tape backing off, and it instantly tore when I barely touched it. Put it back together, and it started making my strings vibrate because of how awful it was. It is so hard to use! Performance is awful. It made my strings start vibrating, getting them out of tune in seconds. This is such a rip off. Never buying this or from this brand again.

Easy to install. I ordered this at the same time as a competitor brand. This was much better quality and it wrapped around the neck with no loose edges.

This is my second time ordering as I acquired another violin. I am still a beginner and for the most part I do not need to look at the frets on my sticker, but as I play in 3 position, I do like to make sure I am beginning in the correct place. It has helped me so much in having good intonation, glad I tried it. I am sure I will not always use it, but it is good to develop correct placement & intonation from the get go.

This was very easy to apply to a violin; however, I can see it possibly damaging the instrument if/when I decide to remove it. I suppose it is ideal for a beginner or someone who doesn't mind how it looks.
