This is crap!It’s a lot of work to replace all the hinges and after doing all of it and getting the doors adjusted find out there is rust bolts on the outside of my doors…Now i have to buy a second set and replace them all.. 😡Don’t buy these ones…

To be clear the first picture is the factory painted bolt next to these new bolts. On to the review:If you have a black wrangler JK or black hinges on your JK and you ever change the hinges, you're going to want these. The factory doors are painted with the hinges already in place, so despite my best attempt at trying not to damage the paint on the bolt, I failed. The amount of force required to break the factory bolt free is a lot, and even shielding the bolt with a piece of rubber, it still cracked. I thought about hitting them with the factory touch up stick I have, but saw these and figured I'd save myself the hassle.These aren't painted black, they're anodized or treated similarly, so they're black period.*note these went into a 2007 JK where I had just upgraded the hinges, since the factory ones had rust bubbled long ago. The picture shows the new hinge and these bolts.

To begin with i had some problems with this order, 1 bolt missing, but ok, amazon was good in fixing the problem, that said, the seller describe this bolt as not easy to rust,Hmm 🤔 i use 8 of this bolts in one side of my jeep, a week later after some rain, i see rust ( photo ) i wonder what is the seller selling, cause clearly they rust, no doubts, so if you need them for 15 minutes replacement ok, for any longer, not sure 😤

I purchased these in June.......RUSTED. Literally they started rusting in a matter of weeks. It took me a bit to take them off because I ordered OEM ones and sent them to a powder coater. So these were on the Jeep for almost 4 months and this is how they looked. Wouldn't waste your money on them.

These look good as accents, but a little disappointed the head is a little smaller, so the paint that chips when removing the OEM bolts are exposed and more noticeable. Also getting a little surface rust on the bolt itself.

These black colored screws fit in the screw wells, but are noticeably smaller and likely to fail in the future. Anyone who knows Jeep doors understand that they can undergo allot of pressure. The retaining screws must be able to handle constant pressure and use.These Amazon screws will not work.
