I ordered this latch to use at my fitness studio to keep people front entering our staff hallway from the main room. It works great! It is so sturdy and thick that I have no reservation about it being able to keep people out. Very easy to install and seems like it will hold up for quite some time. Overall, very happy with it.

This is a honkin', big ol' latch! I bought it to replace a latch on my door that I thought was similar, but this is way larger. It's more for an outdoor gate or something. It is heavy duty and would work very well for an appropriately sized item that needs to be latched. I recommend this item!

I needed a way to better secure the french doors on my shed. I wanted something that would prevent the second door from being opened. This barrel bolt lock was exactly what I was looking for. It's heavy duty and the length of the bolt was perfect for my door. I like that I can add a lock to the bolt for additional security. I drilled a hole for the bolt to go into when the lock was engaged and now the door has extra security.

I love our Door Latch Lock Barrel Bolt 6 Inch, 304 Stainless Steel Slide Gate Latches Security Thickened 2.5mm with Padlock Hole, Silver (1, 6in).After some repairs to a set of shed doors, the dead bolt no longer lines up. I like that this door Latch Lock Barrel Bolt very heavy and being made out of stainless steel lets you know you will have years of service without rusting out. I have this on my shed and mounting was very easy. The door Latch Lock Barrel Bolt comes with the screws needed to install this as well. There is a place to put a lock to secure your valuables or prevent access. Highly recommend this product!

This is a solidly built stainless steel barrel bolt. It was super easy to install and was perfect for my garden gate. Installation was just a matter of marking the holes to be drilled and then screwing in the screws that was supplied. There were eight holes for eight screws, but they gave 9 screws. I would recommend.
