My ring doorbell quit working, and after doing a little troubleshooting, I found that the transformer was not working after just over a year of use. I replaced the transformer with a cheaper one, and the new one lasted approximately three days. I got a replacement and it barely lasted for about a day or so. So, I ordered and received a new, more expensive Ring transformer, but again it lasted for about two days.The wire for the transformer runs between walls, and although it checked good when using an ohmmeter, I suspected something wrong with it. So instead of going through the pain of replacing the wire, I decided to replace the doorbell with a Wyze Wireless Video Doorbell Pro, which was on sale here at Amazon, but kept the Ring doorbell to use it for the back door.I bought this Doorbell Transformer because one, it’s a plugged-in transformer and two, because it does not require the installation of Ring Pro Power Kit. I was a little skeptical because of the previous issues I had with the wired transformers, but so far, and almost five days later, it’s working without any issues.It has a long thin wire, supposedly over 26 feet long. It was too long for my use and had to cut it, which may or may not affect the warranty, but I didn’t want to roll the remaining wire because it was just too much. The ring doorbell provides an excellent view of the back patio and door, so moving the doorbell to its new location and using this transformer to supply its power was a good decision. My next move is to make the wire, and especially the electrical connection less obvious to a would-be thief, but I’ll wait a few days to make sure the transformer and doorbell are working the way they should. But so far, everything is working as it should and I recommend this transformer.

The product came quickly and it was as advertised. Nice thick sturdy plugs and cords of quality. Most importantly, it is high speed charging. I would buy from them again.

Exactly what I needed for my Ring Doorbell. Plenty of wire to run from the outlet to the doorbell.

I purchased this item to connect our ring doorbell to a power source. upon connecting this to my ring it immediately overheated and shut down my ring. It was apparent something was wrong as you could smell the melting plastic.For safety purposes I would not recommend using this product

If you’ve ever installed a doorbell you know it’s inconvenient at best. This plug and play device is a game changer. Highly recommended.
