I haven't tested these against harder materials, but they're great for my lighter purposes of removing surface rust, flaked paint edges, and fixing the edge of a lawnmower blade.These are not indestructible, but these will give a lot of use as they wear down. For the price, they're perfectly disposable, and this set is so much cheaper when a single one can run $4 at one of the big-name hardware stores.
