It's well cut to size (I took off 200 microns off the thickness of it with some 150 grit, but otherwise didn't have to do anything to it, slots were pretty much the same height as that of the previous nut) and definitely bone. Seems high quality, and arrived 2 days early. I can't think of anything to complain about. I haven't strung my guitar up with it yet (it needs other work done first), but I am sure that it will be infinitely better than the plastic nut that it is replacing!

Bone nuts are a big improvement over stock. Purchased a few of these due to unbleached virtue. They're pretty decent, abt as good as any out there. They are cut a hair too short so be sure to check string height before gluing in place.

Great fit. Did not require much sanding or additional slotting. Very smooth and easy to shape.

Took a lot of sanding on both the nut slot and the nut itself in order to get it to fit. Might need to file the slots down too, because the action feels really high. Good product, just needs some work to get it to fit.

I had to shim this to have the high e clear the first fret but other than that it sounds great

This bone nut is half as thick and half as tall as the nut on either of the guitars I wanted to replace. Not sure what kind of instrument this is meant for, but it's not usable for me.
