After reading many reviews about the unreliability and uneven quality control across budget flashlights, I found many positive reviews on this light about its durability and decided to follow suit.As someone who lives in a major city prone to hurricanes, this light is a great, cheap addition to our flat. Plus, the fact that it uses AA batteries (including some Eneloop rechargeable ones we have) makes it even easier to power if the batteries it came with die.The flashlight has a nice design that's easy to grip, the rubberized button is easy to depress, the batteries are easy to replace, and its availability in multiple colors means you can give one to each family member or roommate. Also, the plastic clip makes hooking the flashlight to a hiking backpack or hanging from the ceiling during a power outage simple.The 55 lumen bulb is not particularly bright, but it's helpful around the house or for camping with other people. I have a 1000 lumen flashlight I use at a campground for more coverage when needed, but this one is low impact for finding something in a tent while your partner is sleeping.In summary, I highly recommend this light for its design, functionality, and reliability. And at this price, it's unbeatable.

I bought 20 of these about 8 years ago as gifts and everyone loves them. Very bright light, light weight, waterproof and very tough. Bought more this year in different colors. Can never have to many good dependable flashlights

I put this on my sailboat, hanging on the side of the hatch to the engine. The color is bright & visible and the light is perfectly bright enough when in use.

Using the clip to hang on our kitchen cart and using the bright light for reading oven temp. Haven't tried/r needed it to float, so can't rate that. It's bulkier so not easy to toss in purse, but intended to keep for emergencies & power outtages anyway. Chose the dark purple, so prob not neon and won't glow in dark.Happy with it, so far.

My family and I recently survived through hurricane Milton and Helene. We needed good quality flashlights, that would come fast and come with batteries. This did not disappoint. Once the power went off it went off for almost 2 weeks. I am so glad I bought these. I have a little girl and she started screaming when the lights went off. She has never experienced a power outage and panicked when it went pitch black. Before the lights went out I had these loaded on mine and my husbands bedside tables. They are bright without being too bright. I'd use them more for inside. With gators, snakes and spiders I'd want a stronger flashlight for that. I put them back in my hurricane kit for next year. Florida never disappoints for hurricanes. I'm sure we'll be reacquainted soon. Hope this helps!

Please cancel return. I got it to work. Who knows why it didn't work the first time but does now. It is a good, reliable, bright flashlight. I already have 5 others.
