Excellent kit. It worked great in a 1999 Toyota Tacoma, 2.7 cyl, 5speed.It comes with an assortment of contacts that are used in Denso type of starters. It most likely has the ones you need. The bolts are too short but they are not really needed. The rubber/plastic fittings are great if your existing ones are worn out. This kit does not have the plunger you see in other kits but most likely you will not need it, as it lasts a long time. Worn out contacts is what needs replacement most of the time.Highly recommended. Might be ordering another kit to keep as spare. For less than $20 and 1 hr worth of work you can have your starter up and running again. Better than remanufactured units from autozone and cheaper than going to the dealer. If you can keep your factory starter by replacing the contacts, that's the way to go!

This rebuild kit works perfectly! The copper contacts were completely worn on my 97 Camry 2.2L LE starter and the plunger would not contact the lower terminal causing the infamous "click" when trying to start my car. The terminal that was worn down was the top left in the picture of this product. I took the starter apart, cleaned the plunger, replaced all the seals, copper bolts, and washers, then replaced the copper contacts. I didn't end up using the same contact point for the lower terminal. I used the top right piece of copper in the picture (might have been the second from the right, can't remember) because it provided more surface area for the plunger to come in contact with. After greasing up the plunger spring and putting the starter all back together, the car started right up, first try. Buy this product and not the genuine OEM kit from toyota. This is cheaper, has every contact piece, and works just as well. Good luck on your starter rebuilding endeavor

I used this kit to replace the contacts on the starter in my 1997 I4 Camry LE. The whole job from start to finish took about an hour and a half. I did my repair 6 months ago and the starter has been running flawlessly ever since. The kit is high quality and fits perfectly. The only downside I can see is that it doesn't contain a replacement for the contact on the plunger, so I polished that with some steel wool. While it may seem expensive for a few pieces of hardware, it is much cheaper than replacing the starter or having a shop do it for you. If you're considering doing this yourself and have any rudimentary mechanical skills whatsoever, I would say do it. If you can change your oil and spark plugs then this won't be a problem!

Used this to solder and repair my Oliver super 77’s starter. Worked great.

The bolts are smaller ID than the original on my 1997 T100 4WD Manual starter and one was too short. The original bolts, nuts and plastic parts were in great shape so used them instead of parts from this kit. The Victory lap ND-34SOL solenoid repair kit was 1/2 the price and had everything needed, including the new plunger that was as badly worn as the contacts. Don't waste your money, buy only the Victory lap kit that you need to buy anyway.

Everything was as shown- I didn't notice that the "Plunger" was not included. I might buy a kit with a plunger next time however I was just able to clean up the plunger and re-use. The starter fired right up and had no hesitation. All and all, it was a good deal.

Have intermittent starting with a Denso starter ? Go to auto parts and spend $150.- $200. on a starter or $16.00 on this kit. It replaces the worn contacts eliminating intermittent cranking. I've repaired 2 so far with no more issues.

little pricey for a handful of bolts and copper. it's a kit that's made for several types of starter so I actually only need a couple pieces out of the entire kit. the bolt was also too short and ended up using the old bolt for the power connection. otherwise it worked perfect and save money on replacing entire starter.
