I don't own a Pinto, but this kit is almost the right one for an Ez-Loader trailer spindle. I needed a 13/16-20 nut and retainer and this was the fastest way to get it. The only improper component is the washer; the Ez-Loader uses a D-shaped washer. But filing a little of the key allowed this washer to fit without spinning.The only reason I had an issue in the first place is that the previous owner had used a standard washer, which could rotate and put all the force on the sheet metal retainer, knocking all the tabs off. Luckily, the nut didn't loosen up enough to do any damage.As far as actually reviewing this kit, the price seems fair and the components are durable, especially considering everything is yellow zinc plated.

You would think something as important as wheel bearing nut locking on trailers would be readily available.... Anywhere. Nope. I found nothing in small town USA. I could order from anyone but needed it now. Oh well. Item is fine and worked. Just wish we could bring back common sense to the automotive parts businesses.

good quality description not clear, it is 1inch fine threaded. i bought it for a 3/4 inch or .75 inch it was neither.

Washer was undersized and wouldn't fit over the spindle threads. Would have to be reamed out larger. Luckily I had the old one which was still fine.

This is a convenient package, however upon putting the nut on the spindle I noticed that the nut didn't sit square on the bearing. Looked like the threads in the nut were not cut straight and so the nut sits about 0.030 off the face on one side of the bearing. So basically junk since the nut is only touching the bearing face in a small place not flat. When you spin the nut on you can see it wobbling up and down from the face.I had purchased 2 packages, hoped that maybe this was an issue with one of the nuts NOPE. Same exact thing in the second one as well. Likely going to return for refund and seek a different manufacturer.The rest of the components in the kit looked fine, but the nut is garbage.
