Old plastic one was broken. This seems like a great replacement for 1992 Wrangler 4.0l. No issues to report.

The OEM pulley on my 91 Jeep YJ was plastic and part of the edge broke causing my belt to fray. This is metal and should last a long time.Installation was easy with a power steering pulley remover/installer easily rented at most major auto parts stores.

If you've worked on these Jeeps before you know what a pain the power steering pump pulleys can be. Still a pain to pull and press the pulley, big difference is this is a improved design, with I believe it was three openings instead of being solid metal. The benefit is you can now remove the pump from the mounting bracket without having to remove the pulley first. The openings allow access to the bolts that the pulley would otherwise have to be removed to get at.

Despite a pulley puller and numerous you tube videos to review this was a bear to instal on the new pump. Just be ready for some creative wrenching to get it on the shaft !
