These are poor reproductions made of inferior quality plastic. They don't fit the sheet metal on a 1986 S-10. Then if you try to get them to seat in the hole, you end up breaking the brittle plastic . Total waste of money unless you just need the screw and not the clips.

So far this is working on an 85 c10 chevy. I like the original best, but these do fit and work. Will update if any issues.

Dorman Help! 42119 Head Lamp ChevyIm restoring an older truck, and my light adjusters time had come. There was no adjustment as themetal screws had corroded badly.For an older vehicle, you can no longer get parts, the dealers only stock from 1999 and up. My availabilityhas long past.I found these light adjusters and felt they should do the job.I started installing by adjusting to the old adjusters measurement, then popped them in.Thats the good.Heres the bad...Either the replacement panel was cut with the improper sized adjuster hole or the new adjustermount is not working. I think it is both, the adjuster popped out of the panel with a mere touch.THE CAUSE OF THE PROBLEMis where the little tabs are supposed to press out after being pushed into the hole.NORMALLY, the tabs push out and hold against the metal panel, holding in place.FIRST, the plastic mix may not be correct. I tried to bend out a tab and it immediately broke off.SECOND,THESE tabs didn't flex out, at least not properly.I am giving them a break as I have a after market panel (foreign made quality) and the holes may not becut to the correct size making the adjusters pop out, but, alas, there is a fix.THE FIXis to cut some of that spongy packing that items are shipped in, slight larger than the space under those taps on the new adjuster. put one on each side, under each adjuster. you want this packing material to push the tab out and secure the adjuster in the hole on the panel.You will know you got it when you press the adjuster through the panel hole and you hear that "SNAP" asthe tabs snap over the edge of the panel.Guys, it is getting more difficult to give reviews with glowing naratives because the items are not thequality that we deserve for our money.In this case, this may be the only source we have anymore for this type of component for the lights of an older vehicle.With this said...I will Recommend them as they will adjust the lights BUT YOU MUST add the modification for it to secureinto the panel.I do not know the seller nor did I get any merch or money for my random review.240303 0902

They dont fit the holes properly. They dont "click" in like theyre supposed to and end up falling out while putting your headlight buckets in. Plastic is so brittle that when you drop one it shatters. Finally got them to hold my lights in but it is a bad fit.

Bought for a 2nd gen camaro and the part that clips in is too long had to cut the tip off but still works as needed
