Parts arrived timely and fit nicely. I have a 2008 Chevy 1500 Silverado with 72K miles that is rusting out and with these new frame parts I will get, hopefully, another several years from the truck as long as the rest of the frame system doesn't rust away. General Motors should be ashamed!

Looked at buying the component steel from the local distributor but this piece was less expensive and I didn’t have to fabricate anything. I’m nearly done installing it. Everything has gone to plan. I haven’t had to alter the product and the shock fit neatly into the new mount. I would definitely recommend it.

Looks & fits great. Would be easier with the bed off but ok to do with bed on. I only cut circles around the old tubes rather than chop the lower section off as in instructions. (The left circle had to be cut in a teardrop to fit the mount through)

This is the second Dorman crossmember kit I ordered this one I’m not very happy with there is rusting under the primer the welds are poor looks like a pipe that’s been sitting around and started to rust and they just primed over it and not much primer at that. I will reweld the shock mount sand and reprint seal and paint it myself. Don’t know what happened to this one the first kit I received was excellent this one not so much

I'm sending it back it looks good and sturdy but somehow the welded the shock mount on crooked I have no idea how that's possible you'd think the welder would notice that. Secondly this is a poor design it requires you to cut off part of your frame to fit it unlike other companies that design it to slide in the existing hole. I would strongly urge not to buy this particular one especially if they can miss a very crooked shock mouny
