Pressed out the old ones with a large socket and 6” C-clamp.. pressed in these pretty easy using the same method. Easy fix for shaky steering.

Installed these bushings on my 06 GMC Sierra 1500 2WD.Was installing these to get rid of a front end clunk I got during turning and backing up to a stop. (turns out it was possibly just a loose bolt/nut)I left the rack and pinion up on the truck, took me about 4 hours. Hardest part was removing the bushing, they were still in good condition so I had to pry them out with a big flat head screw driver little by little.Bushings seem to be good quality. Tight fit. This job saved me $800 to replace the entire steering rack quoted by Firestone. Did the job for $13 and 4 hours of my time.

Replaced rack and pinion on '05 Silverado and found that my mounting hardware was literally wore out. I ended up just using part of this kit since the new rack had the bushings already installed. Everything worked fine.
