Your cart is empty.When the original rack and pinion mount bushings fail on certain GM vehicles, you traditionally have to replace the entire steering rack. This Dorman OE FIX solution provides two bushings and a bracket for replacing only the worn bushings.

He said there wasn't a problem with this. Just trouble finding the right cradle to place the old bushing in to get the pressure needed to pop the wire bushing & replace it with this new one. I tested the new one on an off/on ramp 101 to I17 the over pass connections are rough & the last one would always make my truck go to the right and it still does😩 Thought this piece would stop that pull so I'm still looking for a fix to this. It's a fairly new exit ramp so I'm sure if it was bad to make all vehicles pull right they would have had a fix or at least a warning to this until a fix

I needed these bushings for a 2015 Chevy Tahoe ltz 2wd. The shipping was very fast and exactly what I needed to fix a very loose steering rack. They do require the removal of the rack and pinion and must be pressed out to replace. I was able to use a ball joint press and 1/2 breaker bar to remove and install the new ones.

I used my 4WD balljoint tool to do it, but it took every ounce of strength in me and a 3ft breaker bar to do it. If i had a press like harbor freights or something it would have been cake. Great alternative to replacing the entire rack when the bushings are just torn up causing alignment issues and loose steering.

Fit was perfect. So much better of an option than replacing an otherwise fine steering rack. You will have to remove the rack and press them out/in, but if you have access to a press, it’s straightforward.

Esta pieza de repuesto es IMPOSIBLE de conseguir en ninguno de los establecimientos especializados e incluyo a los concesionarios General Motors quienes simplemente se excusaron por no poder surtir este repuesto, afortunadamente existe Amazon.com.mx y asà logre poner en operación nuevamente mi Suburban 2007, saludos.
