This was a replacement for an older one. one trick is to hang it from something and let oil go thru it which will keep it lubricated for a long time,

I installed an auxiliary fuel tank in the back of my pickup that I tow the RV with. I used this to give me an easy way to open the valve on the auxiliary tank from the back of my truck when I have the tonneau cover on or when I don't want to get a small ladder to allow me to reach over the bed rail and engage the valve. With some modifications, it worked as planned.

Would've given this a 5 star but the kit was missing the under dash bracket.... I fretted over it for awhile... Fortunately my rusty old 1978 Ford pick-up, 350(?) V-8 plow truck had a empty hole in the dash from a dual tank switch that had been removed.. With a couple right sized flat washers it fit right in the hole! The cable was definitely long enough! Didn't want to wreck it by cutting it off so wrapped it around the engine compartment and used zip ties to secure. Was a little worried the air filter housing might be a little close to the swivel and cause a problem but it actually was a pretty good fit! It works!

Bought this to replace an old exhaust manifold heated choke on a 57 Chrysler. Product came and did not have hole drilled through collar. I had to do that myself and wasn't a big deal. Once installed, the cable would not stop binding and eventually broke in the middle of the cable. Very flimsy parts as well. I am not satisfied. I wanted to put a manual choke on but it looks like either I'll have to find a different cable that doesn't bind like this one or put an electric choke.

if you avoid tight bends [under 1 inch] it should work just fine. the instructions are complete as they can be for a universal product. remember if you kink it it's your fault not a faulty product.

Which is a good thing. I only used several pieces of the kit to make it work. The cable seems to be of good enough quality. It worked like it should. Don't expect instructions that will fit all applications. You are going to have to tinker with it a little to make it work. Take your time, and do a neat install and it should work without issues.

I liked the price, the fit, the integrity of the parts supplied, and the extra length provided. With a little experience installing things and a few tools, I was able to convert the quadrapuke on the 454 on my old Fleetwood RV from a goofy heat riser system that never really worked right (maybe when it was new 30 years ago lol) to a fully controllable manual choke. No more reving high when the engine is cold in an attempt to get it of the choke. I recommend this product, but also recommend that you try to learn how to use it from someone who knows.

YOU get what you pay for all the small parts worked out good make sure to oil the pull cable ,plenty long enough had to cut about 3 feet off good price worked well

Tried hooking up and you pulled cable to engage choke but would push to turn choke off. Just bends ….. throw in garbage
