Perfect fit for an '00 XJ Classic, though upon recommendation of these reviews, I knew it would take some work to fit in. It did take a bit to fit it past the serpentine pulleys, but once it was in, it was amazing. Came with an adapter so it was a direct plug & play, and is much more effective than the 21-year-old OEM fan... So much so that my O2 sensors don't heat quickly enough and now I have an idling problem when it first starts, but I needed to get to that project anyway. Excellent choice for the money.

After going through a few cheaper fans, I eventually got this one in a fit of desperation and should have just started here and saved myself the headache - finally fixed my high idle temps.It's a tight fit, the nut in the front sticks out more than stock, but it fit in my '96 xj with a bit of brute force and wiggling. Also comes with an adapter pigtail, but I didn't need it for my connector.

Exact fit in my 2000 xj!!! It seriously only took about 5 min to install and the plug was a direct match so I didn’t need the supplied adapter. Have ran it a few times and it works great but the real test will be out on the trail when the Jeep is hot and moving slow

Installed this on my 91 Jeep 4.0L Cherokee. The curved blade design pulls more air through the radiator than the straight blade replacement fans sold. The fan assembly was a direct replacement and only took about 15 minuets to replace start to finish.

Didn't exactly fit my 1987 Jeep Cherokee, but close enough. Vehicle gets used in places where there's no cell service and consider it best to go with a new unit. Better with new than a new engine should an old used one that's not new. Keeping in mind that new parts can fail.

This fan worked perfectly didn’t even need the provided pigtail adapter direct fit in my 2001 jeep Cherokee. Remove the bolts on your mechanical fan so you have some wiggle room and the fan should slide in takes some finagle to get in place.
