Fits perfect, at first it didn't want to go in I just repositioned it and it screwed on good. I have had no issues yet. It's been 6 months

It took me 10 minutes to get it off but the part is not bent correctly i had to spend over an hour and a half putting it on and taking it Off dozens of times but bending it more each time in a way that finally got to go in because it needs to fit EXACTLY PERFECT there is no room for error or it wont go. Im not sure if it was just damaged during shipping or their specs are slightly off at the factory but im glad they made this part.Also it says this doesnt fit my 2008 truck but its literally the same part that came off. This one is much heavier and feels better quality than the factory one. Im not sure if my truck is the original engine though so dont qoute me on that if it will fit your 2008 or not but GM is lazy they design all trucks the same basically. I didnt see any pictures with this review so il add some.All i removed to install was the part of the intake that connects to the throttle body and removed the engine cover. no need to remove the alternator you can get the bolt on the right with a swivel socket and an extension. My screws went in a little crooked from the poor fitment of the piece but i sent it anyways and they snugged down good with the ratchet and no leaks i'm happy. the bolts are 10MM

Did not fit. It was a hair short when it came to fitting in the holes. Had to send it back.

I am happy that someone makes these unusual pieces. Mine started to leak and the steel line was very rusty. I didn't take any chances and replaced it with this. Great fit.
