Every other review is 100% accurate.I put a hinson short shifter in my track c5z and it was miserable... Very stiff and notchy.Would rather have the stock one back in.Figured I'd try this long "fabled" mod that's been going around the forums for a decade... Sure enough!!!! 2 of these was perfect... takes about 3 minutes to install (if you have a lift).... And it was night and day better.

I need this item for an older car. It wasn't a popular size then and it's scarcer now. The local auto parts stores don't carry this size anymore. The part works fine, there's not much to go wrong. So if you need it for a car that you're going to keep for a while, better stock up on them when and where you can find them. I bought a bunch.
