Wasn't the proper mount , I ordered from another source with the same specs and received the proper part . As a mechanic I know that products sometimes get mislabeled which I believe is what happened from Dorman .

Replace the original accelerator pedal on 2012 Chevy Malibu to resolve P2127 and P2138 codes. Pedal was exact replacement and solve the issue. After I replaced the pedal, I needed to clear the codes with the ODB 2 scanner and then run the car through a drive cycle to clear the permanent codes.

Installed and worked 4 months. Replaced with a Duralast part from local Autozone. Contacted Dorman and was told sorry, take it up with your retailer. Tried, and crickets from Amazon.
