These work good for after market nylon lines with just a heat gun to warm it up and press in with your hand but stock line doesn't work well .I know they have a tool to press it in I have used it and it sucks .if u need to you can cut the old one off a few inches back and use a barbed union to connect to a new nylon line

This worked out great to replace the factory fitting on my 1999 Dodge Grand Caravan. I wish I knew about this adapter before. I paid the local garage too much money to put a hose clamp on the factory one and that only held for a few years. Once put a splice in an added this it was a much better connection. I just put some WD-40 on the barbs and slid on the hose with some trouble. No heat needed.
