The piece is an almost perfect direct replacement for the old hose connector. There are some small differences from the OEM, but it fits and does the job.Besides the old one being a beast to get off (ended up breaking the tabs to get it off), this was an easy fix. It snapped firmly in place with firm pressure (it's a snug fit), and I am very happy with the part for about 3 months now....no leak.

Had this part on for a couple weeks now. No leaks, OE fitment. If you dont mind the wait on shipping, its really worth the savings over autozone or oreilys.

Good replacement for a dripping original on my 2011 Yukon XL Denali with the 6.0. I could smell some coolant at stops and closer inspection showed a small drip at this fitting. No tools needed to remove just reach your fingers in and squeeze the tabs and remove. The heater line coming from the pump has it’s own retainer clip that you will need to remove from the old coupling and push on your new one. I lubricated the new o-rings then pushed it in place, no drips!

Part is good quality replacement for GM original part PN 15055343. This crappy design by GM will eventually cause these parts to fail, luckily it is fairly easy to access and replace with the right Heater Line Quick-Connect Release Tools. If the quick release tool is not available, the one part can be cut off and new part just slides on. Be sure to lubricate O-rings on new part before installing it.
