I use these for LS engine swaps with aftermarket harnesses that do not have fusable links on the power leads. These work great to add some safety to the harness.

The purpose of a fuse link is to blow when experiencing an increase amperage due to a sudden “shortâ€. The link is to be 2 sizes less than the supply wire, example a 10 gauge supply to a 14 gauge link. This 14 gauge link comes with a butt connector with 14 gauge on both ends. Therefore you will need to remove this butt connector and replace with a 10/14 step down connector

Hard to find locally, but an almost exact replacement for the OE fusible links. Going to order a couple more to have on hand for future needs
