I don't know what dodge was thinking when they put plastic parts on the front of the engine where there is high heat. I replaced it with this aluminum part and it's been great. No leaks, no cracks. Ty

good quality product, purchased after reviewing all good feedbacks, am sure it is better than plastic due to engine heat specially for jeep which the temperature remains between 85c and 100c specially in summer

Installed on my 2014 3.2 Jeep Cherokee. Factory plastic crossover was leaking at a seam. For this repair you do have to support engine with jack and remove passenger side motor mount since the coolant crossover runs under it. Not a hard job and should last the rest of the engines life since its all aluminum. Love the upgraded dorman parts they have for the pentastar to solve some common leaks.

The only reason this doesn’t get a 5 star is because of the small aluminum shavings I found in the part before I installed, I cleaned them out. This is a top priority upgrade for you V6 3.6 Mopar engine. One of a 3 major failure points of the engine are Coolant Bypass, Thermostat Housing, and Oil Filter housing/cooler. Dorman has all 3 parts available, here in the photo I have 2 installed. Don't wait for your cool at Bypass and Thermostat housing to leak, replace it as soon as possible.Did this install work by myself in 1 hour (includes removal of old part and cleanup).

Great metal water jacket.Replace dodge plastic piece with this when doing t-stat,also use metal housing .No leaks,used on 2 cars,2015 journey & 2018 caravan,both around 40k miles.should last life time..

Arrived in good condition and had no problems installing. Would recommend doing a cooling system flush before changing this and also replacing the plastic thermostat housing with the dorman aluminum one. Worth the money!
