I needed a new alternator an d was told I needed these. I got them even though it said it didn’t fit my car. Alternator w this bolt kit worked like a charm.

its the perfect fitment ! Amazon said it wasnt compatible to my 1998 Tacoma 4Cyl 2.7L Prerunner but it indeed was a perfect fitment! im so happy!!!

Snapped the Tensioner Bolt on my Power Steering/Fan Pulley while changing the belts. Borrowed a car and tried finding a 14mm Hex M8 1.25 x 90 at 3 different stores, no luck. Couldn't drive my truck until I replaced that bolt!Saw this Dorman set on Amazon with next day shipping, bought it and hoped for the best.I wasn't able to use the smaller bolt or the square housing, but that long bolt was EXACTLY what I really needed anyway! Perfect fit for my stock Tensioner.I know Amazon says this isn't compatible for my 2004 1st Gen Tacoma and they're probably right but if you're in a pinch and just need that bolt, this'll work.Now I just have to find where I can get those darn bolts individually and keep a small stash just in case another old one fails down the road....

Works on a '97 Camry with a 4 cylinder. I'm not sure why all the online auto parts stores have it listed for the 6 cylinder Camry only. The only difference is that the block is not threaded for the tensioner bolt so you will need to retain the existing threaded block or procure a nut and washer for that bolt. Saved me a trip to the junk yard.

I was doing the 25 years old alternator. The tension bolt was frozen. I find this kit with reasonable price. So I just break the old bolt and replace it with this set. Everything fit perfect.

I was replacing the alternator on a 91 1.6L Miata, and noticed this assembly was completely absent. After doing a search, the original Mazda parts are hard to come by and quite expensive because of that. I took a total shot in the dark with this assembly, and to my astonishment, it is flawless and works in every way intended as the original OEM Mazda design. The spacing block is the right size, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, the thread pitch and diameter of the alternator locking bolt is the EXACT size and length that you need to work with the NA 1.6L alternator assembly. I was ecstatic to see it work perfectly for the NA 1.6L application.

This does fit on a 2009 hyundai accent alternator... I replaced the original rusted hardware with this.

Perfect! Used it on my 99 4runner 3.4L for the alternator tensioner as well as the power steering tensioner. The small bolt does not thread into the adjuster block so you either need a nut or a longer bolt with nut as I did. It's galvanized so it looks like it will last!
