Shipping was fast, part fit perfectly without modification and seems as thick as the original. Took about 1.5 hours to change it, including time to clean and paint the frame and underbody area before reinstall. Great product!

Purchased a Jeep Wrangler Tj and while driving home my that was following me said “your Jeep looks awfully low†Got home and low and behold the fuel tank was nearly dragging the ground. After some examination I determined the rear skid plate had rusted loose.I searched online and came across this skid plate.I was pleased at how well built it was, and painted a nice glossy black.Replacing the skid plate was fairly easy and fit perfectly.I would suggest if you are doing this by yourself, try and have the tank is empty as possible, it makes is much easier to handle and a lot lighter.

Had to replace the fuel pump in my 1999 Jeep Wrangler so I decided I might as well replace this skid plate along with the fuel tank straps. The skid plate was very sturdy and felt high quality but just know that this skid plate does NOT come with any hardware so you will be reusing your factory bolts/nuts. If you have rust on your Jeep (like I do), plan on soaking the bolts/nuts days in advance and be prepared to replace some too. Overall very happy with this product and since being installed for 2 weeks now I've had no issues/complaints.

Significantly better than stock design. Way stronger, and protects both sides of tank, as well as rigged stronger bottom. Wayyyy better than stock. Holes lined up, no fitment issues. I recommend having the gas light on before swapping, as even an 1/8th of tank is quite heavy when installing. Start by a few threads on back bolts, than front bolts, than tighten them all up. Cheers

Perfect replacement for the stock tank skid but it's more of an upgrade really. Fit like a gem in my 98TJ and came with all the hardware to do the job. New skid feels much more solid and protects the tank better then the factory skid.

For the price it's a great product, there have been other reviews saying that they used a jack or other means to make it fit.All you need is to do is finger tighten all bolts and straps before tightening.The straps do not come with the wedges, how ever a drill and poprivets fix that.
