I used this to replace my socket with a broken cover. It was the exact size and shape and I was able to simply reuse the old hardware. This comes with hardware if you need it but otherwise exactly what I needed

Good fit. The product would be better with longer self tapping metal screws, but I had some left over from a previous project, and bam the unit was installed. Worked very well, at a great cost.

I had been driving for several years with my original trailer hitch plug hanging out of the holder by the wires due to dry rotting of the casing. I'm not complaining the truck is 16 years old, and the last 10 years have been in sunny Arizona! I decided it was time to get 'er done and guessed that this plug was the right one as it replaces original equipment. I was right and my mechanic said it went on no problem using the old wiring and holder and I can look forward to many trouble-free years of service.
